Slash your WOW power leveling time in half

Slash your WOW power leveling time in half.

First up, beware of down time! Avoid hanging round and just waiting for things to happen like replenishing health or mana. It’s absolutely pointless running from grave to grave with no clear idea of what you goal is; this just adds to your downtime. Reduce your downtime by slaughtering anything in your path that is weaker than you. The amount of small gains that you will achieve by doing this will soon add up rather than wasting time waiting for the big kills. As you advance throughout the game you are going to find that the levels and quests are going to become far more difficult to complete. Something many people fall victim to is taking everything one step at a time. If you want to advance through the levels much quicker it is important you accept more than one quest at a time. You can drastically cut back on your time by spending a little amount of time accepting multiple quests.

The next little piece of advice I’d like to offer is to do a lot less killing and grinding and do a lot more accepting of quests.Granted, a number of the quests will expect you to kill and grind but it will be to your advantage to accept more quests where you’ll benefit greatly from the extra rewards of cash or experience or whatever else the item has to offer you.

Finally for now, make sure you complete quests two or even three levels below you rather that those above you. Even though you will receive less by way of experience etc. per kill, the smaller but more plentiful kills will soon accumulate and get you flying up through the levels quicker than you might by rushing to battle it out in the more difficult higher levels first.

Diminish the value of WOW power leveling

World of Warcraft level 90 character boosts will cost $60, developer Blizzard Entertainment did not want to diminish the value of WOW power leveling.

In terms of the pricing, honestly, a big part of that is not wanting to devalue the accomplishment of leveling.

If Blizzard wanted to sell as many level 90 boosts as possible, it could have made them less expensive, in the ballpark of $10 or so. But players might not level traditionally, through gameplay, if they could buy their way to the top for so cheap.

Overall, Blizzard’s goal with the level 90 character boosts is to provide busy players–those with family responsibilities or limited gaming time–a means to enjoy high-level content with one of their alternate characters.

Still, some players might see Blizzard’s introduction of paid character boosts as a signal that World of Warcraft is becoming more of a “pay-to-win” title instead of a progression-based game. This is not the case.

World of warcraft Power leveling

About world of warcraft Power leveling

I’d go to a quest giver and actually (OMG!) read the quest. Basically all the lore is communicated via the quest line. And my guild would whine at me to “hurry up, we need more raid healers” (I was a priest in those days). If I was grouped, the rest of the group would get irritated at my slowness.

But if an NPC wanted me to go kill 60 of something, I wanted to know WHY. If I was going to go out and commit genocide on his behalf, I wanted more reason than just the assumption that he was a crazy, bloodthirsty psychopath.

So you rush through your leveling, letting much higher level guild mates “run you through dungeons for the XP and gear.” They’re killing stuff so fast it’s all you can do to loot and keep up. And then, since there’s only two of you in there, your bags get full 30 seconds into the run. So you turn off-auto loot and try to only loot the greens-or-better (if you’re an enchanter…otherwise it’s blues-or-better) and the money. And maybe some cloth if you need to level your first aid. Or all the cloth if you’re a tailor. They’re killing bosses while you’re still three rooms behind. You have NO idea what’s going on.

And you get to max level as fast as you can. And then you start raiding. Every damned night it seems. And, eventually you get to the point where you feel like it’s always “same boss, different day.” Sure, you (hopefully) progress through raids, and once in a while it’s actually interesting when you have to learn a new boss fight. But it’s the same basic thing night after night.

World of Warcraft Roles

In World of Warcraft, each player character has a specific set of skills and abilities that define that character’s role. For example, mages are powerful spellcasters who use magic to inflict damage on their enemies from afar but are very vulnerable to attacks. These traits define the role of the mage: hang back, do a ton of damage, and hope to kill the monsters before they reach you.

In a group context, there are three main roles: tank, damage dealer, and healer. A warrior can choose to serve as a formidable “tank,” or protector. Tanks are resilient, and it’s their job to draw the enemy’s attention away from the more vulnerable members of the group. The aforementioned mages make excellent damage dealers. A priest specialized in healing powers may not do as much damage as other classes, but they can play a vital role, keeping the party alive with healing magic. It’s important to note that all classes, regardless of which role they perform, are able to play solo. Some classes are limited in the kind of role they can play: warlocks and rogues, for instance, are strictly damage dealers. Some character classes, like the druid, can capably fulfill all three roles.

Role-play also means that you play the role of a character living in the game’s fantasy world. How much or how little you role-play is up to you; some players construct entire background histories for their characters and adopt unique mannerisms when they’re “in character.” Immersing yourself completely in the fantasy can be a lot of fun, but tastes vary, and it’s perfectly alright if full immersion simply isn’t your style. This kind of role-play is purely optional, and we provide separate Role-Play realms for those who prefer to play in an immersive world.

Once on Draenor of the WOW

Once on Draenor, you’ll face the might of great orc warlords like Grommash Hellscream and Kilrogg Deadeye, who command a legion of 10,000 orcs from Draenor’s united clans—but you won’t have to take on this desperate mission alone. The great draenei champion Vindicator Maraad will accompany the Alliance through the portal, while the Horde will go through backed by Thrall. Your strike on Draenor is practically a suicide mission, but if you can destroy the portal from the other side, you’ll buy your faction—and Azeroth—some much-needed time. . . .

All level-90 players will begin in the Tanaan Jungle, and for newly boosted level-90 characters, the experience will be tailored to help you get up to speed and ready for taking on the challenges to come. Instead of gaining all of your skills and abilities right away, you’ll be able to unlock them as you progress and learn your way around your more powerful character—and you’ll need every ounce of your ability to stop the Iron Horde and continue your campaign on Draenor.

Once the threat at the Dark Portal has been (temporarily) dealt with, Alliance and Horde players will take divergent paths. Each will answer the call of their new allies to engage the native threats of the world and mount a long-term defense against the Iron Horde.

Learning to WOW Power Leveling

When players first start playing World of Warcraft they often get frustrated with the speed at which they can level their character and want to learn how to level faster. Learning to level faster – or WOW Power Leveling – isn’t hard, but a guide will definately help you level your character up to level 90 in double quick time.

There is nothing to say that you have to level faster, but a good guide should be able to get you over the hurdles that you can sometimes encounter when playing the World of Warcraft. The land of Azeroth if a vast and dangerous place and some of us, at least, need a little help to get us to the next milestone, be that level 40, level 60 or level 70 and beyond to the next new level of 90

Now you don’t have to have much gold to level faster, but in my opinion it helps. Anyone who has speed leveled their way to level 40 or course wants to buy a mount or their first epic mount. This is when many players suddenly realise that in their rush to powerlevel their character, they forgot about the gold economy and don’t have enough wow gold to pay even their bar bill at the Pig and Whistle (Stormwind).

Warlords of Draenor: Racial traits clarified

Blizzard Community Manager Bashiok has posted an extensive run-down on the official forums, detailing the changes to racials which will appear with Warlords of Draenor. Orcs’ Hardiness also took a hit, now reducing stun duration by 10% instead of 15%. No changes are planned to Pandaren or Worgen racials.

Blizzard Community Manager Bashiok has posted an extensive run-down on the official forums, detailing the changes to racials which will appear with Warlords of Draenor. Many of these will come as no surprise to people who’d seen some early leaks or followed the discussion on Twitter last Thursday, but nonetheless it’s great to see all this spelled out for us in blue and brown.

Obviously, with the removal of hit and expertise racials, there’s some changes being made. All the bonuses that related to those have been replaced, so that was Draenei, Dwarf, Gnome, Human, Orc, and Troll. All these have been replaced with other bonuses that affect damage output.

There have also been changes to what Bashiok refers to as “some outliers”, indicating things like the Troll Berserking being brought down from a 20% haste increase to a 15% increase. Orcs’ Hardiness also took a hit, now reducing stun duration by 10% instead of 15%. No changes are planned to Pandaren or Worgen racials.

It seems like Blizzard is making an effort to remove the obligation to play certain classes in order to maximise efficiency for certain roles. And this can only be a good thing. Hit the break for Bashiok’s full post.

WOW power leveling guides

Many new WOW players ask one particular question that even seasoned WOW gamers can’t answer-how I get my character to level 100 in as little time as possible. There are actually a few tips from WOW power leveling guides to help you level to 100 in as little time as possible.

1. Questing
One of the best things you can do to level up to 100 is questing! Completing quests rewards you with heaps of XP, and some quests require you to grind an “x” amount of mobs, which will grant you even more XP while trying to complete the quest! You are pretty much killing two birds with one stone! Try finding as many quests that require grinding as you can, because when you start to kill mobs, your XP will exponentially grow and you will reach that level cap soon!

2. Refrain from running instances
One of the biggest misconceptions of leveling up is running instances. The only thing I have to say is that it is only necessary to run instances when you have a quest for that one particular instance. Most people run instances to have a ball with their friends, make friends, want a good challenge, or twinking. Your only reason for running instances should be completing the quest(s) that you have for that one particular instance. The reason for that is because it distracts you from reaching your goal of swiftly getting to level 100, which we will cover shortly.

3. Do NOT grind
Most WOW leveling guides will tell you that grinding is the best way to level up, but in fact, it isn’t. Sure, there are a lot of mobs roaming around Azeroth, but they barely give you a sufficient amount of XP. The only exception to this, one that we already talked about, is when you are required to grind an “x” amount of mobs to complete a quest. That’s the only time when grinding is necessary.

4. Setting your leveling goal
Obviously, there are quite a few things you can do to level up to 100 as fast as possible. The biggest thing you want to do is set “leveling to 100 as fast as possible”. I’m serious. That should be your only goal in the game. Don’t worry about any professions, don’t worry about BGs, don’t worry about making friends, don’t worry about twinking, and don’t worry about ANYTHING! Your goal is to level up to 100 in the shortest time possible, so let that be the only thing you have on your mind and your goal list!

5. Getting a good add-on with a good WOW leveling guide
As mentioned previously, one of the best ways to level up in WOW Cataclysm is to complete quests. Now, there are a lot of quests givers, and you may be asking, how do I know which quest to do? There are actually a few WOW leveling guides I ran into, and some say that questing add-ons are the way to go. I agree. However, there is one particular add-on that I use that helps get me to level 100 in just 7 days!

WOW power leveling about WoW Guild

Why Make a WoW Guild Site?

So you run a guild in World of Warcraft, making a guild website is a logical progression for those taking it to the next WOW power leveling. A guild website will easily allow you to send out mailing lists, post raid times, track progression of players, and create a sense of community that often helps guilds grow and progress. You actually have a few different options when it comes to creating your own guild website, which even includes a few sites that provide free web hosting for WoW guilds. This article will discuss those options, and weigh the benefits of both free and paid hosting.

Free Web Hosting for WoW Guilds

It should be noted that there are options that allow free hosting for WoW guilds – but they will be limiting. Often you’re restricted to a certain number of pages, they’re littered with advertisements – often for places that do power-leveling and sell gold, and you might not get to use every feature you’re looking for.

However, as far as options go, a free guild website is better than no guild website, right? Of course! After all, how else are you going to take in new recruits or schedule raids? Not to mention, this does mean that no one is going to foot the bill for the website. This is absolutely perfect for small, non-raiding, or casual guilds who aren’t set to strict requirements or large numbers of members. Below are two free options to get you started:

Guild Launch
Guild Portal

Paid Options for WoW Guild Options

The amount of features you can get depends somewhat on the amount you pay and your experience with web design. Reasonable web hosting isn’t hard to find these days, and to be perfectly honest, paying for a year’s worth of web hosting is going to be significantly cheaper than a year’s worth of WoW.
