Many games have the ability to make us anxious and Path of Exile is one of those games. In a genre where Diablo is the reference and where Torchlight 2 threatens this hegemony, a small group of programmers decided to intrude and create what is now the Action RPG that can revitalize the genre.
GGG (Grinding Gear Games) is a New Zealand-based indie company founded in 2006 and made up of 18 programmers who started the Path of Exile (PoE) project. PoE is a beta-stage ARPG since August 2011 and will be released in F2P format sometime in late 2012. This F2P format will be supported through the sale of merely cosmetic items such as pets, skins or more bench space.
PoE presents a mix of ideas from the great references of the genre as well as all the feedback provided by the community, being highlighted the work of “public relations” carried out in varied streams where the problems and performances related to the game were heard and analyzed by the programmers.
We have available seven classes, Marauder, Templar, Duelist, Ranger, Shadow, Witch and Scion that make up a traditional range of characters at our disposal.
As a standard we have the existence of a talent tree that focuses on passive skills (Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence) to the detriment of traditional active skills offering a range of very high and differentiated choices. Startling a little at first by the huge amount of possible choices is perhaps the best ideas already proposed in a game in terms of talent tree, relegating in some cases the gear to use for background. Active skills are obtained through gems that are found while exploring the game world and / or through quests. These gems are then placed on the pieces of gear used by us and combined with support gems that attribute to the skill different properties of the initials. All gems undergo a leveling process that uses the experience gained by the player in the course of the game. This leaves players a huge choice whether in terms of passive or active talents and their combination.
The PvP mode is composed of several sub-modes. In this peculiar way players can start a solo campaign or in groups of up to 6 players and enter into PvP combat in the game instances, having as an attractive fact that by eliminating an enemy we get all their loot (excluding gems and potions) and earn a percentage of your experience.
Get the information, try it and enjoy a great game. It is safe to say that U4GM offers the cheaper PoE orbs than ever. Time is limited, make sure to size the opportunity to get cheapest PoE orbs on U4GM.
