Everyone loves Mini Tyrael, the angelic little pet given away to attendees of last year’s Worldwide Invitational inParis. He didn’t make a noise when you clicked on him but he would /dance with you. Well, Blizzard has finally bothered to address the situation and make Tyrael into the pet he should be. I was in Storm wind the other day meeting a friend for an impromptu party to celebrate the fact he had just gotten El Pollo Grande. So while we compared chickens and abused the /chicken command, I got out the Foam Sword Rack and my Ogre Pinata and then summoned the little guy. At first I thought someone had cast a spell on him as he’d never done this before but it turns out he was just bored.
The intent of Luck of the Draw is to help make up for the lack of coordination, communication, and familiarity that pick up groups suffer relative to organized groups of guild members and friends. Cataclysm dungeons, especially on Heroic mode, are quite challenging and ask for more group organization than the Wrath of the Lich King Dungeons did. Therefore, Luck of the Draw became relatively weaker in Cataclysm. Players wonder, and rightly so, why Dungeon Finder supports Cataclysm Heroic dungeons at all when the chance of success is so low.
Achievements are a relatively new feature to WoW, but they have proved hugely popular with both casual and hardcore gamers. Unlocking new achievements and areas on the map is another way for max-level players to enjoy the game with enough wow gold, and to give some unexpected benefits and bonuses to others. The idea of having another race has always been around in the minds of the developers, but Brack pointed out that the Worgen are slightly different. They have always been a mystery in the game itself, usually hanging out with ghosts, demons and ghouls in Darkshire – but now there is another possibility – that Worgen may actually be from another dimension or time.
