Destiny Share So Much Better With Samuel L. Jackson

One of Destiny’s most lackluster features is Peter Dinklage’s voice acting. In a new video, a fan imagines what the game would’ve been like if Samuel L. Jackson had been playing Ghost instead.

destiny

t0nin0t inserted Samuel L. Jackson movie quotes into many of the cutscenes from Destiny. This makes these scenes about 500% more bearable. Here’s a sample bit of dialogue:

Speaker: In its dying breath, the Traveler created the Ghosts, to seek out…
Ghost: This ain’t none of your goddamn business.
Speaker: Your ghost will guide you.
Ghost: (looking at Guardian) He is the toughest son of a bitch I’ve ever met.
Speaker: I only hope he chose wisely.
Ghost: Get the fuck out of my face with that shit.

It goes on like this for about three minutes. Sam the Man spouts lines from Pulp Fiction, Snakes on a Plane and a few other films. Some of the lines used by t0nin0t are a bit random but he makes a convincing case for replacing Peter Dinklage’s voice acting. with a Samuel L. Jackson soundboard

It’s really sad that even if Bungie had simply recycled Samuel L. Jackson lines from other movies, Ghost would be a more compelling character than he is right now. The combination of stale writing and a bored Peter Dinklage made Ghost a non-entity in the game. He’s about as lively as text prompts.

The problems aren’t limited to one character, though. Destiny power leveling just suffers from a complete lack of personality. Every NPC – whether it’s the Speaker, Cryptarch or the Stranger – is devoid of emotion. Their enemies are faceless hordes that never bother saying a word before trying to kill them. A robot spouting a random collection of Sam Jackson sound bytes isn’t exactly a three-dimensional character but at least there’s a discernible character there.

‘Destiny’ – Details about Destiny’s upcoming House of Wolves expansion

Reddit user megamanexe4 managed to find out the details through datamining the game’s files, though Bungie has since warned fans that all the information could change. According to megamanexe4, the DLC will unlock on May 19, which is a Tuesday. This is the same day of the week the game resets, and when previous expansion The Dark Below released.

A leak earlier in the year suggested we’d be seeing House of Wolves in March, and according to megamanexe4 some of the new content is still scheduled to unlock then. He suggests a patch will be released in the near future to modify the date to May, when the majority of new features are set to become available.

The description for the DLC reads “The Queen’s Fallen have purchased their freedom with Awoken blood. Hunt down the traitors and your debt to the Queen will be paid.” As for what we should expect, House of Wolves apparently brings with it new story missions and a new raid, along with three fresh multiplayer maps and a new strike. The raid will allegedly be in the currently off-limits Reef area. A level 28 strike playlist called Vanguard Dragon is also present, while the Weekly Nightfall level cap has been bounced up to 32.
Want to upgrade more quickly, you can select destiny power leveling.

As you can guess, lots of new weapons and armour are also getting added but there’s too many to post here. Check them out in the original post.

Interestingly, a lot of this information falls in line with an earlier leak about what’s coming in House of Wolves. Despite this, Bungie community manager DeeJ has been quick to warn players on the game’s official forum that everything is subject to change and, until the studio announces otherwise, none of this is final.

“What could it all mean?” he wrote. “I know that rampant speculation will burn for a while on this topic. As you enjoy a conversation about the pearls of information that can be lifted from this, please bear a few things in mind…

“1. Aside from giving it a name, Bungie has yet to reveal the House of Wolves. That means that anything you know about it can change. We have a team working on the experience in their own fancy room, and they have some exciting surprises up their sleeves.

“2. We reserve the right to overwrite anything you’re looking at right now. These placeholder items enable us to save room on your drive for actual future updates. You’ll all download them before it’s time to play.

“3. Any stats or assumptions about power or impact or handsomeness are months old, and do not reflect the things that we’re doing to adapt to what you’ve taught us about Destiny. There is a process here, and you’re a part of it.

“Leaks are fun. I totally get it. Please discuss to your heart’s content. All we ask is that you leave your mind open to the evolutions that are inevitable. What you see here are very old ghosts from our pre-launch database. These are not necessarily the wolves you’re looking for.”

Paul McCartney‘s Grandson Like Destiny? It is Clear

After 50-plus years in the music business and his iconic status as one of the most famous and successful pop stars in history, Paul McCartney is still trying to impress his family.

While appearing on “The Daily Show” last night, the former Beatle admitted to Jon Stewart that one of the reasons for agreeing to feature his new single “Hope for the Future” in the video game “Destiny” was to appeal to his grandchildren.

“The thing was, I had seen my grandkids mainly playing, and I’d say, ‘Give me a go.’ Then I’d get killed within the first couple of seconds,” McCartney explained. Paired with the advisement that, as Stewart pointed out, video games “are billion-dollar industries, franchises – bigger than major motion pictures,” McCartney figured this would be a win-win investment. That and he wasn’t exactly a stranger to the industry, having lent his expertise to video-game designers five years ago to help maintain the authenticity in “The Beatles: Rock Band.”

So what was the result of seeing Grandpa’s hologram in an otherworldly setting inhabited by spaceships and aliens? “I was Mr. Cool! Come on, give it up!” McCartney announced triumphantly. Destiny is available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in addition to the current console generation. And you can easily get upgrade lv32 in the Dark Below via destiny power leveling.

“Hope for the Future” is also available in EP form on iTunes.

Why You Choose Destiny Power Leveling?

Why do you choose Destiny Power Leveling? Because it’s the fastest way for you to level up. Once you have chosen Destiny power leveling, you would own the newest and strongest weapons.

Why You Choose Destiny Power Leveling?

Leveling is the part and parcel of Bungie’s Destiny. Similar to other RPGs and MMOs out there, everything ranging from killing mobs to completing missions net you experience points to level up your character.

Destiny Level Up Fast Tips

One of the good things about Destiny is that despite your character level, low level enemies always give you the same amount of experience points – which makes them worth killing.

Why You Choose Destiny Power Leveling?

While many players like to take their time and level up by completing the story, going through the crucible, completing strike missions, and patrol missions; there are few of us who like to hit the level cap as soon as possible.

For those unrested souls, in this guide, I will explain the best methods to level up quickly than other players.

Completing Bounties

While in the Tower, you can keep track of different bounties which upon completion will not only net you vanguard reputation, faction reputation, but also quite a lot of experience points ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 experience.

Some of these bounty runs are quite simple like completing a couple of skirmish or clash matches. Note that you need to only complete these matches, and not actually win them, which make them quite easy. Though, you will receive added bonus if you win them, but it is up to you.

Of course, you will have to grind a lot to complete some of these bounties, but the amount of experience is worth it! You can also refresh these bounties to get the new ones and complete them as per your convenience.

Note: You must go back and speak to the bounty dude in the Tower to claim your rewards after completing a bounty.

Why Destiny Is So Attractive ?

Why Destiny is so attractive? I have played the game as early as it has been launched. But now I am still addicted to Destiny. And maybe I will play it for longer.

Why Destiny Is So Attractive ?

I love it so much because its exotic and legendary gear equipment and it is much easier to level up. (Best way to level up is destiny power leveling).

With the release of  Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Halo: The Master Chief Collection, I think it’s safe to say many shooter fans have moved on from Destiny. Even prior to the launch of these two heavyweight shooters this year many people had already called it quits with Bungie’s latest title. Yet, somehow, I find myself still eagerly waiting for the weekly reset so that I may run through the raid, weekly nightfall strike, get more marks, and the list goes on and on. Now before any of you are quick to call me a delusional fool (which I could very well be), please allow me to explain myself.

I have heard the numerous complaints that have been leveled at Destiny, both justly and unjustly. Let’s just say I don’t even have time to explain why I don’t have time to explain my thoughts on these complaints (wink wink). But in all seriousness, allow me to elaborate. I grant you that there is not much in the way of a story. Your journey as a Guardian begins with seemingly haphazard missions that have you running around to different planets in order to perform various tasks (mostly guarding Dinklebot during wave after wave of enemies), and it never truly becomes a cohesive objective till after you meet the Stranger on Venus. However, the fact remains that exceptionally deep lore DOES exist.

Why Destiny Is So Attractive ?

Like I said story takes a backseat. But to what? For me, it comes down to gameplay and leveling up. And I think when it comes to Destiny, most people undoubtedly agree that it is a mechanically solid shooter. I love the fluidity of sliding around a corner mid-sprint, followed by a quick Lift (yes, I play a Titan) into the air, culminating in a great arcing Fist of Havoc smash on the ground to wipe out my foes. Furthermore, the way the guns feel is incredible and it’s obvious that Bungie put a lot of thought into carving out the shooter elements of this game. Simply put, shooting stuff in Destiny is insanely fun!

I definitely agree with Bungie when they said that the real game starts after you hit level 20. While the light leveling system is not entirely unique, it is still very uncommon to see in RPG games and personally, I think it is quite fun. Although it certainly has its own issues, the reason I enjoy it is that it allows you to get the required gear to hit your desired level as opposed to the other way around. In most MMOs, the best armor is something that can only be obtained once you reach the max level, whereas in Destiny, you need the best armor to reach the max level. I do enjoy how they flipped this MMO trope on its head and it certainly has kept me interested in trying to obtain the coveted raid set gear.

Speaking of the raid, it is absolutely incredible. I have never experienced such a well-designed set of encounters bent on testing your team’s communication across a variety of challenges on a console. Granted there are plenty of raids in WoW and other such MMOs, but I don’t believe it has ever been accomplished on a console game, let alone a first-person shooter. While I do agree that the reliance on RNGesus in Destiny needs to be toned down a bit (especially in the raid), it isn’t enough to get me to stop running the Vault of Glass because it is just THAT much fun to play. When you factor in the Weekly Nightfall Strike, Weekly Heroic Strike, Daily Story Mission, and Bounties into the equation, there is more than enough to keep me coming back every week.

Why Destiny Is So Attractive ?

With several major patches on their way resolving issues such as communication channels, new legendary gear, and new methods to obtain upgrade materials, the future of Destiny looks bright. Bungie has shown their commitment to evolve this game based on feedback from their consumers and it doesn’t seem as though they have any intention of slowing down. There is so much good in this world that Bungie has created that it is sad to see people only hung up on the negatives. It is an imperfect game by all accounts and yet it has so much potential. Destiny certainly isn’t a game for everybody, but for me it is a good enough starting point on a 10 year journey that I know will only get better and better.

Do you agree with me? If  you have any different ideas, connect us by destiny-store.com.
